Kenya’s two largest parks offer a quieter alternative to the Mara. Tsavo West has the clear waters of Mzima Springs and dramatic volcanic scenery, while Tsavo East is known for wide plains and elephants dusted red by the local soil.

Kenya has good wildlife viewing all year. The dry months from June to October and from January to February are the easiest for game drives, and the Great Migration is usually in the Masai Mara from about July to October.
Most visitors need a Kenya electronic travel authorisation (eTA), which you should apply for online through the official government system before you travel. Check the current requirements for your nationality. Speak to your doctor or a travel clinic about vaccinations and malaria prevention.
Sightings depend on the season and on luck, so we cannot guarantee any particular animal. Your driver-guide follows the best sightings and works with other guides to give you the best chance.
