If you plan to visit Kenya or Rwanda during the same trip, apply for the multi-entry East African Tourist Visa. It saves you time and money.
Mandatory Yellow Fever Card
Important: You will be turned away at Entebbe Airport if you do not have a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate. Make sure you bring the physical yellow card—digital copies on your phone will NOT be accepted.
Health & Vaccinations
Staying healthy is paramount for any traveler. We highly recommend consulting a travel health clinic 4 to 6 weeks before departure.
- Malaria Prevention: Uganda is a high-risk zone. You must take prescribed antimalarial tablets (Malarone or Doxycycline). Apply insect repellent rigorously at dusk and dawn when malaria-carrying mosquitos are most active.
